Bill Gaither's Homecoming Radio

Bill Gaither's Homecoming Radio is a weekly hour-long Southern gospel program hosted by Bill Gaither alongside a rotating cast of "Homecoming Friends" co-hosts, including Lauren Talley, Michael Booth, Kevin Williams, and Tori Taff. Now in its 21st year on the air, the show blends classic and contemporary gospel music with interviews, comedy segments ("Mayberry Trivia," "Kevin's Wacky Words"), and surprise appearances from the extended Gaither Homecoming family. It broadcasts on more than 3,500 radio stations worldwide and on SiriusXM's Bill Gaither's enLighten channel, and received the Gospel Music Association's Radio Impact Award in 2021.

Ozark Highlands Radio

Ozark Highlands Radio is an hour-long public radio program featuring live musical performances recorded at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Arkansas. Hosted by Dave Smith and produced by Daren Dortin and Jeff Glover, the show pairs archival recordings from native Ozark musicians with contemporary roots and old-time performers, plus artist interviews and features exploring the history and traditions of American folk and acoustic music. It airs on public radio affiliate stations across North America and beyond.

Wandering Minstrels with Jared Ingersol

Wandering Minstrels is a one-hour weekly syndicated program hosted by Jared Ingersol, spotlighting a wide range of folk music — from traditional roots to contemporary and cutting-edge artists — drawn from performers around the world. The program is distributed free each week to radio stations, available with or without commercial breaks.

WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour

Hosted by folksinger Michael Johnathon, WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour is a live-audience celebration of grassroots and acoustic music, taped 40 Mondays a year before a studio audience at the historic Kentucky Theatre in Lexington, Kentucky. Each episode features live performances and conversation with touring folk, bluegrass, and roots artists, and the program airs on hundreds of radio and PBS affiliate stations as well as in schools nationwide.

Echoes of Jazz

Echoes of Jazz is a one-hour jazz program hosted by retired musician Rusty Barker, who toured as a trumpet player with the Ice Follies, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and the Maynard Ferguson Orchestra. The show shares the stories, methods, and cultural backdrop behind jazz's greatest artists alongside the music they inspired. It launched in April 2026 on Miami's WLRN as the successor to that station's long-running "Night Train" jazz show, and has since been picked up by additional stations.

Science and the Sea

Produced by the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, Science and the Sea is a short-format program exploring how marine life thrives in the ocean, how the sea sustains life on land, and how human activity affects the world's oceans. What began in 2005 as a magazine column expanded into a radio program in 2006, and today combines short radio segments, a podcast, and web content to make ocean science accessible to general audiences.

EarthDate

EarthDate is a short-format weekly program delivering concise, science-based stories about the Earth — its geology, environments, and the deep-time and present-day processes that shape our planet. First broadcast on Earth Day 2017, it now airs on more than 460 radio stations. Beginning in 2026 the program is produced by the Switch Energy Alliance and hosted by geologist Dr. Scott W. Tinker, and is written and directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Harry Lynch.

Southeast AgNet Radio Network

Produced by AgNet Media, the Southeast AgNet Radio Network delivers daily farm news headlines and seven distinct agriculture-focused programs to farmers and agribusinesses across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Broadcast on more than 60 stations region-wide, the network's broadcasters bring a combined century-plus of farm radio experience, covering the Southeast's fruit, vegetable, and specialty crop industries. Southeast AgNet is a sister network to AgNet West, which serves California growers.

Fish Fry

Fish Fry is a 59-minute program hosted by Chuck Haddix (on-air as "Chuck Haddock") on Kansas City's NPR station KCUR, serving up the best in blues, R&B, soul, jumpin' jazz, and zydeco alongside American roots music such as swing and field hollers. Haddix launched the show in 1985 and has hosted, produced, and engineered it solo ever since, mixing new releases with deep cuts from his own extensive record collection and conducting live interviews with national and local musicians. He is the former director of the Marr Sound Archives at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the author of books including "Kansas City Jazz: From Ragtime to Bebop" and "Bird: The Life and Music of Charlie Parker."
